Dear friend,

The efforts at saving the mangroves will not succeed unless we devote dedicated resources for the same.

We will most certainly loose all mangroves within a decade by 2020 if there are no dedicated people and resources to follow up acts of destruction. Following up with the authorities, site visits, filing reports etc. are not activities which can be done in a part time voluntary mode.

We request you to consider an annual membership as a small financial contribution aimed at helping us develop full time resources to fight the cause of mangrove conservation.

Your contribution will help us provide for the salary, travel allowance and office rentals.  You can also support with bigger donations. All donors will be acknowledged below (unless they do not wish). All income and expenditure will also be displayed below and emailed to the individual donors.

Annual fee: Rs. 500 – Cheque in the name of “Save Andheri Versova Forum”

The Mumbai Chapter came up under the aegis of the SAVE Forum’s efforts at saving the local mangroves and does not have a registered bank account of its own. SAVE Forum has a formal registration and 80G tax benefits.

Please do mention behind the cheque or send a note saying that the contribution is towards MSI.

Cheques can be sent to 1, Safina Sadan, Seven Bungalows, Andheri(W), Mumbai – 400061.

Sir the problem is Mhada Residents throw their household garbage in the mangroves, Making them die, it is visible through a naked eye.
